We would like to thank the following people for their part in the creative production of this album. Although the lyrics and melody were produced by Steve Churchill some final arrangement and individual parts were performed and submitted through others who deserve to be acknowledged for their input of ideas and performance.
Casey Lewis: Casey not only engineered and mixed and mastered the album he played an integral role over all production of the songs. Contributing parts and ideas for all aspects and recorded parts that were mostly used in the final recording. he also played percussion instruments such as tambourine or shaker on the album. I can't thank Casey enough for his role in the making of this album. I will be doing all of my recording with Casey both with COPPER and in any solo projects.
Donnie Saviak: Donnie (much like myself) is a business minded individual. Since his coming to COPPER, just a few months prior to the band going into the recording studio, he has been able to adapt and perform like he has been here for years. He not only recorded his parts in roughly 2 or 3 days for the entire album but continued to show his commitment by being in the studio as often as he could to support the rest of the process. Bringing lunches and beverages whenever needed he went beyond playing his part. In the development stages of the album he clearly wanted to contribute and did with idea after idea. A true professional and a great musician I consider myself lucky to be playing with him and I thank him for his continued work with me and with COPPER.
Andre Robichaud: Andre literally came to COPPER just weeks before we went into the studio. I am proud to have worked with Andre on this project. He was a big part of why the album turned out the way it did. His parts were original and his input was always positive and supportive. Having covered all the back up vocals and lead guitar parts he was easy to work with and never complained. His work with COPPER will not be forgotten and is appreciated. I wish him well on his future projects. I will always be a supporter.
Greg Kristianson: Greg had been with COPPER since the beginning leaving briefly once for a few months. He is a perfectionist and an incredible bass player. His parts stood out and were left prominent in the mix to be heard. Always able to offer an idea or a suggestion many of his thoughts were used in the recording of the album. Bar Star was one that Greg really ran with and developed when all hope was lost. He was an incredible asset to the band with his solid performance both live and recorded. His contribution was significant over the years. Thank you for your time and commitment to COPPER and we wish you the best for the future.
Les Schaeffer: Les is a good friend an extremely talented person. Previous to Donnie joining the band Les was the drummer for COPPER and was a big part of developing arrangements and ideas for turning words and melody into magic. Many of his ideas were kept in the final production of "Tale of Misery", "Tonight", "Don't Count Me Out", "Bluffing Through The Pain", "Take You Home", and "It's Over". I continue to talk with Les and will always be a huge fan of his work. He is moving more into the production and engineering of music and perhaps one day we will work together again.
Shea Bonney: Shea and I have been friends for 13 or so years and have performed together on and off over those years. Always willing to offer a hand in anyway he could he played a very big role in the preproduction and preproduction recording of many of the songs that were ultimately used on the album. A very skilled player with a very creative mind. His contribution musically and structurally to songs like "Tale of Misery", "Bluffing Through the Pain", "Don't Count Me Out", "Take You Home", "Tonight", and "It's Over" was integral during their development. many of the parts and ideas were kept and used in one way or another on the final cut of the album. Shea and I continue to be friends and perhaps one day will work in another project in the future. I am always grateful and will always have respect for Shea.
Samantha Paisley: Samantha has been a friend for many years and I have complete respect for her creative ability as an artist. Although on the other side of Canada in New Brunswick she still found time to put together all the artwork for the album and several posters and promotional materials. She has a true appreciation for art in any form and I thank her for all the late nights and hard work in getting this project done on time.
Patricia Boucha: Our thanks to Patricia for coming out on short notice to shoot the band. Many of the pictures have been used in the CD and promo as well as on the website. We truly appreciate your work and efforts.
Our thanks to all those who supported us from loved ones to friends and strangers. Our biggest thank you goes to our fans without you there is no COPPER!
