THERE HAS BEEN...
...some interesting news coming out of the COPPER camp this week as long time Drummer "Donnie Saviak" is leaving the group. Both Donnie and COPPER have parted ways on good terms and both agree it is just time for a change. Newest member Kirk Bates will be taking the drummers seat moving forward after being with the band as a bass player. Kirks musicial background is as a drummer and he is very excited to take the position! Long time friend of Steve Churchill Mike Wall will join the band on Bass. Steve feels that although there are line up changes to the band it is always for the better and ultimately the product gets better. "It is part of being a musician. I have played with many musicians over the years and it makes me and the product better everytime. I have no hardships with anyone whom I have played with I loved playing with them and I have tonnes of respect for them. I wish Donnie the best and he and I will always be firends."
COPPER has confirmed that there are a bunch of new dates and a CD Release show to be annouced in the coming week. Stay tuned as we will post them as soon as we hear!

IT'S HERE....
....Finally!!! Original Joe's in Avenida Calgary tonight 8:30PM start time. COPPER starts off with an acoustic first set then plugs in for set 2 and 3.

What makes this show so unique is COPPER will open the night with an acoustic first set then moving right into the plugged in rock we have all come to love!
